Geography changes the feeling of a wedding. Hard light, coastal weather, old city streets, mountain roads and private villas all leave a mark on the photographs.
However, the approach stays the same. I work quietly, watch closely and photograph the day as it actually happens.
Because I only take on selected destination weddings, the fit matters. The setting, people and rhythm of the day all need to suit the way I work.
WHERE I TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS
I am based in Oxford and available for selected destination weddings across the UK, Europe and further afield.
This can include coastal weddings, European city weddings, private villas, rural estates, elopements and smaller celebrations.
Before booking, I quote travel, accommodation and timings clearly. That way, there are no vague costs added later.
A LIGHTER WAY TO WORK ABROAD
The Leica system suits destination weddings because it keeps the photography lighter, quieter and less intrusive.
Instead of travelling with a heavy production setup, I work with a smaller footprint. As a result, I can stay closer to what is actually happening.
The point is not the camera. It is what the camera allows: fewer interruptions, calmer coverage and photographs with a stronger sense of place.
