As a destination wedding photographer and filmmaker based in Oxford, I cover destination-style weddings across the UK, including Cornwall, and I’m open to enquiries for weddings further afield, including abroad.
Photography and film are approached in the same relaxed way, focusing on people, reactions, movement, real sound and the atmosphere of the celebration rather than turning the wedding into a production.

The setting plays a big part in how a destination wedding feels. Coastal weather, city streets, mountain roads, private villas and rural estates all bring something different to the day.
I photograph around that rather than forcing the same approach everywhere. The location becomes part of the story, while the focus stays on the people, reactions and moments that make the wedding personal.
Because I only take on selected destination weddings, the fit matters. The setting, timings and style of celebration all need to work naturally with the way I photograph.

I’m based in Oxford and available for destination-style weddings across the UK, with experience covering Cornwall. I’m also open to enquiries for weddings further afield, including abroad — coastal weddings, private villas, rural estates and smaller celebrations where the setting is an important part of the day.

A quiet approach wherever the wedding takes you
Destination weddings often involve unfamiliar locations, changing light and a different pace to a wedding closer to home. I keep the way I work simple so I can adapt without making the photography feel complicated.
I work with a small setup, stay close to what is happening and give direction only when it is useful. That keeps the day moving naturally and leaves more space for the people, place and atmosphere to shape the photographs.

Photography that feels like the wedding
Beautiful locations matter, but the photographs still need to be about the people. The nerves before the ceremony, family arriving from different places, the speeches, laughter, movement and the moments happening away from the main view are often what give the day its character.
I photograph those moments as they happen, with a little direction when it helps and plenty of space for the wedding to unfold naturally.
The setting gives the photographs context. The people are what make them personal.
Photography and film for destination weddings
If you want both photographs and film, the coverage can be planned together so the two work around the same schedule, locations and priorities.
For smaller celebrations, hybrid photography and film coverage can keep things particularly simple. For weddings needing more extensive filming, a separate photography and film setup may be the better option.

Planning the travel around your wedding
Destination weddings often involve more moving parts than a wedding close to home, so the practical details are agreed well in advance.
Once I know the location, timings and how the day is structured, I can work out the travel and accommodation needed around the photography or film coverage.
If your celebration takes place across several locations or over more than one day, include those details when you enquire. I can then recommend the most practical way to cover what matters without adding unnecessary complexity.

Do you photograph weddings outside the UK?
My experience so far has been UK-based, including Cornwall, but I am open to enquiries for weddings further afield, including abroad. Send me the location, date and an outline of the plans and I can confirm availability and travel requirements.
How are travel and accommodation costs worked out?
Travel and accommodation are quoted before booking based on the wedding location, timings and the practical travel needed around the day. There are no unexpected travel costs added later.
Can you cover a wedding over more than one day?
Coverage can include events across multiple days where needed, such as a welcome evening, wedding day and next-day celebration. I will build this around the schedule rather than using a fixed package.
Can we book both photography and film?
Photography and film can be planned together. Depending on the size and structure of the wedding, this may be through hybrid coverage or a separate photography and film setup.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Destination weddings usually need more planning around travel and accommodation, so earlier is helpful. If your wedding is closer, it is still worth checking availability.
