ISIS FARMHOUSE. OXFORD.
A RIVERSIDE RECORD.
The Isis Farmhouse is defined by its access. Sitting on the banks of the Thames at Iffley Lock, it is a location that requires effort to reach. That isolation creates a specific energy: unhurried, slightly wild, and entirely detached from the city center.
Documenting a wedding here is about capturing the texture of the river and the transition of the guests as they arrive by boat or foot. The light hits differently across the water, and the barn provides a dark, atmospheric contrast to the open meadows surrounding it.
My role was to observe the day as it unfolded along the towpath. No interference. No staged portraits. Just the honest record of a celebration on the edge of the water.
