I work around the structure of the day rather than trying to impose the same routine on every wedding. That means knowing when to organise family photographs, when a short portrait session makes sense and when to leave things alone.

I cover celebrations across both sides of the county, including Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell, as well as smaller towns and villages between them.

Wherever the wedding takes place, the coverage is shaped around the venue, timings and people rather than a fixed formula.

Good wedding photography should not make the wedding feel like a photoshoot. I stay close enough to see what is happening, but I do not constantly stop people, move guests around or turn every moment into a setup.

That matters at busy Berkshire weddings where the day can move quickly between ceremony, drinks, dinner, speeches and evening celebrations. I keep the coverage responsive so the photography fits around what is happening rather than interrupting it.

When direction is useful, I give it clearly and keep it brief. The rest of the time, the focus stays on the people and the celebration.

I am based in Oxford, with Berkshire forming a natural part of my regular wedding coverage. Reading, Newbury, Hungerford, Maidenhead, Windsor and the surrounding countryside are all straightforward areas for full-day photography.

I also photograph weddings across neighbouring Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.

Can you photograph weddings at private homes and country estates?

Private homes, gardens and country estates work particularly well for relaxed coverage because the day can move naturally between different spaces. I photograph the wider setting as well as the people and smaller moments happening within it.

Are you based locally?

I am based in Oxford, with Berkshire forming part of my regular wedding coverage. Reading, Newbury, Hungerford and the western side of the county are particularly accessible, while I also work across Windsor, Maidenhead and the east.
