This wedding moved through two very different places. First, it began at Holy Trinity Church in Chipping Norton, with old stone, town-centre energy and the quiet pressure of the ceremony.
Afterwards, the reception moved to the Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh. The pace changed quickly. There was garden light, guests settling in, speeches and movement through the rooms.
Because of that shift, the wedding had a clear story. It was not just one venue. It was the movement between places, people and atmosphere.
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH AND MANOR HOUSE HOTEL
Holy Trinity Church gives the ceremony a strong North Cotswolds setting. It feels more public than a rural village church, because it sits close to the town around it.
After the ceremony, Manor House Hotel brought the day into a more enclosed Cotswold setting. The gardens, old rooms and slower reception pace gave the photographs a different feel.
Together, the two locations gave the wedding a natural rhythm. Ceremony, transition, reception and then the point where people started to forget the camera was there.
COTSWOLDS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
This wedding sits inside my wider Cotswolds wedding photography work. The region has a strong mix of churches, manor houses, hotels, barns, gardens and village settings, but the aim stays the same: honest documentary coverage with atmosphere and restraint.
