A real wedding for Danielle and Josh. Their Catholic ceremony took place at Holy Trinity Church in Chipping Norton. Afterwards, the celebration moved on to Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh.
A wedding between Chipping Norton and Moreton-in-Marsh
Danielle and Josh’s wedding moved between Chipping Norton and Moreton-in-Marsh. That gave the day two distinct settings and a natural sense of progression.
Their Catholic ceremony at Holy Trinity Church brought together family and traditions from both sides. It had a formal, town-centre feel. Afterwards, the reception at Manor House Hotel was softer and more relaxed, as guests settled into the afternoon.
That mix of tradition and celebration helped shape the photographs. The story developed naturally as the wedding moved from one place to the next.
Holy Trinity Church and Manor House Hotel
Holy Trinity Church in Chipping Norton gave the ceremony a strong sense of place. Its historic interior, and the energy of the town just outside, added to that.
Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh created a different atmosphere for the reception. Its gardens, characterful rooms and softer pace gave the photographs more variety. Guests relaxed into the afternoon as the day went on.
Using two contrasting locations gave the wedding a natural visual rhythm. It moved from the formality of the ceremony through to the more relaxed celebrations that followed.
Cotswolds wedding photography and films

From the ceremony to the reception
Before the ceremony, there were quieter moments at the Manor House Hotel. These included Josh getting ready, and the small details that begin to build the story of the day.
At Holy Trinity Church in Chipping Norton, the focus shifted to the ceremony itself. Danielle arrived with her bridesmaids, while Josh and his groomsmen waited inside. The church gave the photographs a very different atmosphere from the reception that followed.
Afterwards, everyone moved on to Moreton-in-Marsh. The gardens and rooms at Manor House Hotel became the backdrop for guests settling in, for conversations and speeches. As the day moved into the evening, the celebration became more relaxed.
