THE LEGAL RECORD.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMMISSION.
THE AGREEMENT.
The record begins once the booking fee is cleared and the contract is signed. This agreement is a binding commitment between the client and the studio. By proceeding with the commission, the client acknowledges the documentary nature of the work.
THE FINANCIAL COMMITMENT.
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the date. This fee covers the administrative costs of establishing the record and precludes the studio from accepting other commissions for the same period. The remaining balance is due thirty days prior to the event. Failure to settle the balance results in a breach of the agreement.
THE CREATIVE INTEGRITY.
The studio operates on a documentary principle. This means the record is an observation of reality. While specific requests are considered, the final selection of fragments and the edit are at the sole discretion of the studio. The aesthetic remains consistent with the portfolio: grainy, cinematic, and unscripted.
THE RECORDING PROCESS.
The studio is the exclusive provider of professional photography for the event. To maintain the quality of the record, no other professional photographers are permitted. The client is responsible for ensuring the studio has the necessary access and time to document the day effectively.
THE ARCHIVE DELIVERY.
The final archive is delivered via a secure digital gallery. Timeline estimates are provided but remain subject to the complexity of the record. The studio retains the right to use the fragments for promotional and archival purposes unless a privacy agreement is established in writing prior to the event.
THE CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING.
If the client cancels the commission, the booking fee is forfeited. Cancellations made within sixty days of the event require full payment of the remaining balance. If a date is moved, the studio will attempt to accommodate the new schedule, though a new booking fee may be required to secure the updated record.
THE LIABILITY.
In the improbable event of a total photographic failure or unforeseen circumstances that prevent the studio from attending, liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid. The studio is not responsible for the loss of data due to circumstances beyond its control, such as hardware failure or external interference.
